A 63-year-old man from Tikhoretsk, Krasnodar, has fallen victim to a broker game scam, losing 500,000 rubles. The fraud was reported by the press service of the GU MVD of Russia for the Krasnodar Territory.

As the man attempted to withdraw his funds, the fake broker requested additional financial operations to be conducted on his accounts. The man, unaware of the scam, complied, unwittingly enabling the scammers to access his personal data and gain control over his accounts.
The scammers used this control to transfer the man's money to their accounts, leading to a total loss of 500,000 rubles. The incident was discovered when the man realised the extent of the fraud and reported it to the authorities.
The scammers exploited the man's trust to gain control over his financial accounts, using the phone as a means to communicate and manipulate the man into performing certain financial operations.
