Three individuals, hailing from Kosovo, Romania, and Italy, are taken into custody by the federal law enforcement agency.

In the picturesque town of Garmisch-Partenkirchen, nestled in the Bavarian Alps, the Federal Police Station is hard at work. Assigned to the Federal Police Inspection Rosenheim, they are responsible for maintaining public safety and order in the districts of Miesbach, Bad Tölz-Wolfratshausen, Garmisch-Partenkirchen, and the city and district of Rosenheim.

Recently, the Federal Police Inspection Rosenheim has been making headlines due to a series of arrests and sentencings of foreign nationals.

One such individual is a Romanian citizen, currently awaiting extradition in Stadelheim prison. He is wanted across Europe for crimes against public safety and order. Federal Police officers arrested him on a long-distance bus from Italy, leading to his admission to Stadelheim prison. The Romanian is likely to be extradited to his home country soon.

Another individual, an Italian man, was sentenced to around two months in prison in Bernau for failing to settle a judicial debt of approximately 1,500 euros. Federal Police officers took him to the Bernau detention center for around 50 days. The Italian was also wanted for theft, with an arrest warrant issued by the Public Prosecutor's Office in Essen.

Two other foreign nationals, a Kosovar man and an individual whose details were not provided, were arrested during border controls. The Kosovar man was sentenced to a fine of around 1,500 euros and was unable to provide the necessary amount, leading to his imprisonment in Bernau. He had a history of usurpation of authority conviction by the Wernigerode Regional Court in 2023. The details of the other individual are not yet available.

The Federal Police Inspection Rosenheim also ensures the safety of rail passengers and rail facilities on approximately 370 kilometers of track and in around 70 stations and stops. Over the weekend, they arrested three wanted men during border controls near Kiefersfelden.

Stefan Kurth heads the Federal Police Inspection Rosenheim, which is responsible for approximately 450 members, working primarily against cross-border crime.
