Application period for the Environment and Climate Prize 2025 concludes on September 14th
In a continued effort to recognise and celebrate projects that contribute to environmental and climate protection, Arnsberg City and Westenergie have announced the Environmental and Climate Protection Award for 2025.
This prestigious award, worth 5,000 Euros, is set to be presented in May 2025. Since 1999, Arnsberg City and Westenergie, or its predecessor companies, have been collaborating to honour over 8,000 projects under the Climate Protection Prize.
The award is open to all citizens, associations, companies, schools, and kindergartens within Arnsberg City. Projects submitted for the award should be either in progress or already completed, and must address one or more of the following themes: climate protection and energy, environmental protection and adaptation to climate change, sustainable supply, mobility and traffic, and tourism.

Interested parties are encouraged to submit their entries by September 14, 2025. Westenergie also offers financial support for such a prize to its partner municipalities in the supply area.
